It is with deep sadness, we announce the passing of Amber Lee Jones in her 65th year. Amber passed away peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday April 23rd, 2019. Beloved wife of Bruce Sutton. Devoted mother of Jason Davis (deceased) and Halley Jones-Sutton. Daughter of the late Jean Jones (nee Torrence) and the late Duffield Jones. Loving sister of Randy Jones (Karen) and aunt to Kelly and Ryan. Loving niece to Betty Shepard-Hobden (Torrence). Step mother to Stacy Deen (Trevor), grandmother of Taylor Collingridge, Austin Deen, Cassidy Deen and Rylan Deen. Sadly missed by many cousins, extended family and friends. Amber was a dedicated RPN at St. Joesph’s Hospital, Peterborough Civic Hospital and Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Amber enjoyed family history, antiques, gardening, music, drives in the country and swimming in Crowe River. She was funny, witty, kind, strong, Loyal and loved by all. Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday May 15th 2019 from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the Ranch Resort, 252 Ski Hill Rd. Bethany, ON. Thanks to all the staff at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on B2, B4 and Palliative care in this difficult time. Donations in memory of Amber can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
