Anne Emma Maye Whittington (nee Richardson)

Her life’s journey ended on Thursday, September 8th, 2022 in her 90th year surrounded by the love of her family.  Daughter of the late Stanley and Edna Richardson.  Beloved wife for 54 years of the late Vincent Clarke Whittington.  Proud and loving mother of Allan (Marion) and Grama to Emma, the love and bright star in her life.  Sister to Margaret Bell (late Norman), two nieces Susan Bell Gastle (Jim) and Christine Tibbles (Peter).  She will also be remembered by her great nieces and nephews Alex, Victoria (Ryan), Georgia Harriet, Nicole, Joe and Grace.  Anne was an active member of Grace United Church since 1961, as well working in different organizations within the city and helping everyone she came in contact with.

Our family would like to extend our appreciation to the staff of Royal Gardens for the love and care shown to Mom during her years of stay there.  Also, the care and support received from PRHC.  And a big thank you for all the love, prayers and support Mom received from family and her many friends.

Visitation will be held at GRACE UNITED CHURCH, 521 Howden Street on Monday, September 12th, 2022 from 12 noon until service time of 2 PM.  Interment Little Lake Cemetery.   Donations made to Grace United Church or Hospice Peterborough would be greatly appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be expressed by visiting www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com.
