Barry Garfield Hickman

HICKMAN, Barry Garfield – At his home on Saturday, July 11, 2020, Barry passed away peacefully while surrounded by the love of his family at the age of 73. Beloved husband of the late Sharrel (nee Rout). Loving and devoted father of Jason (Stacey) and Shaun (Angela Foster). Dear brother-in-law of Sandra Medelko (Robin), Wanda Rout, Beverly Collins and Lorie-Ann Roxburgh (Ian). Cherished son-in-law of Ross Rout (Carol). Barry is predeceased by his parents Garfield and Mabel (nee Rideout), brother Keith (Shirley Crossley) and mother-in-law Mildred Rout (nee Scott). Barry will be sadly missed by his family and friends, and his love will continue to be felt by us all. A special thank you from the family to Shaun and Angela for their around the clock care of Barry over the last 6 months and to Jason and Stacey for their support. In keeping with Barry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In memory of Barry, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
