ROQUE, Bernadette (Bernie) Elizabeth (nee O’Brien) Long Time Parishioner of St. Anne’s Church, peacefully at PRHC after a brief illness with her loving family by her side on Thursday, March 12, 2026 in her 92nd year.
Bernadette, beloved wife of 68 years to Arnold. Loving and devoted mother of Lorie Myers (Don), Ann Steele (Keith), Marjorie Ferguson, and Anthony (Lea). Cherished Grandma of Tammy (Belinda), Wayne (Shauna), Angela, Robert (Kelsey), Ted (Blair), Matt, Elizabeth (Stephanie). Great Nana to Kylie, Peyton, Ella, Kara, and Great Great Nana to Brynnleigh. Dear sister of Ella Sheehan (Gus, predeceased), Frances Kimura (Don), and predeceased by her brothers Martin O’Brien (Marie, predeceased), brother Joe O’Brien (Marg, predeceased) and sister Pauline Moloney (Steve, predeceased). Survived by her Brothers-in-law Toad Roque, Pat Roque (Mary), sister in law Brenda Teddy (John, predeceased) and predeceased by Gordon (Jeanette, predeceased), Freddie (Frances Anne, predeceased), and Giles (Lynda).
Relatives and friends may call at Highland Park Funeral Centre on Friday, March 20th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00pm
Funeral Mass in St. Anne’s Church on Saturday, March 21st at 10:00am with a reception to follow. For those not able to attend, Bernadette’s Funeral Mass will be live streamed, link for which can be found on the Highland Park website.
The family would like to thank the VON Adult Day Program and the PRHC A5 medical team for their kind and gentle care in her last days.
