After a short battle with a rare aggressive form of cancer. Brian Cree, died on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 peacefully at home with his beloved wife Betty of 56 years by his side.  Brian leaves behind his beloved son Dylan (Melissa) who lives in Vancouver, his brother Alan (Melody), his brother-in-law Charlie (Carmen), his nephews, Leslie, Andrew, Simon, and niece Maddy.  Thankfully Dylan had a long visit with his dad over SKYPE on Christmas Day.  Brian was perfectionist.  He was an accomplished builder.  But most of all he will be remembered for his intellect.  He was a deep thinker and his arguments were difficult to win.  He knew his stuff.  In addition to these qualities, he was witty.  He understood the world for just what it was and exactly why people in it do what they did.   In accordance with Brian’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be a private family service at a later date.  In memory of Brian, and in lieu of flowers, donations to charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family, and can be made through the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
