DICKSON, Brian Edward

Brian passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Monday, November 6, 2023, at the age of 66, after a courageous battle with cancer. If you didn’t know him, he was a man of few words. But if you did, you often heard, ‘to make a long story short’. He was passionate and well versed in so many things, and if he loved you, you were lucky enough to hear all about them.

Loving husband of Pauline, cherished father of Katie (Ty), Christine (Matthew) and Daniel (Brittany), grandfather of Wade, Reid, Ethan, Maddox, Ella and Aurora. 

Brother of Robert and Donald, brother-in-law of Jimmy, Cathy (Bill), Leona, Dorothy (Doug), Andy (Rose), John (Monica), Barbara (Alec), Bernice, David (Adele), Marie, Marlene and Brian. 

Pre-deceased by his parents Donald and Shirley, his brother John, his beloved nephew Scotty who he thought of as a second son, his father and mother-in-law Jim and Katie Devlin, his brothers-in-law Bernard, Frank, Mike, Larry, Mike H, his sisters-in-law Eileen, Patricia and Norma.

He will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Brian’s family would like to extend a special thank-you to his palliative care team especially Dr. Nishikawa and nurse Tannis.

A visitation will be held at Highland Park Funeral Centre on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 6-9pm.
