Catherine "Cathy" Doris (Giroux) Russell

It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce Cathy passed away suddenly at home with her husband, Robert Russell, by her side. Cathy was a kind and patient woman. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, holding them near and dear to her heart. Cathy is loved and will be dearly missed by her husband Rob of 45 years, predeceased by daughter Kelly, her son Brian (Tracey), her son John, and her grandchildren Jordan and Christina, Breann and Cameron. Cathy is cherished by her many siblings, in-laws and their families.

Cathy’s family would like to thank all of the EMS responders who responded and tried to bring Cathy back to us.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Highland Park Funeral Centre on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 2 - 4 PM. All are welcome to join in sharing the many fond memories and stories surrounding Cathy’s life that we hold dear to our hearts.
