Cindy-Lynn Brown-Edmondson

BROWN-EDMONDSON, Cindy-Lynn – Passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025 at Hospice Peterborough in her 58th year.  Cindy is the cherished wife of John.  Beloved mother of Cacey, Taylor and Aidan.  Dear daughter of Wayne and the late Lynda Brown (nee Huey).  She will be remembered by her sisters Kimberly-Anne Brown-McKie (Richard) and Terri-Leah Fleury (Ivan).  She will be missed by her mother-in-law Dorothy Edmondson (the late Fred).  She was predeceased by her sisters-in-law Margaret Brown (the late Robert), Dorothy Marie Northey (Fred) and Shirley Donker (Lennard).  She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and co-workers.

Cindy dedicated over 30 years of her life to caring for others as an Occupational Therapist, touching countless lives with her compassion, kindness, and unwavering commitment to her community. Her impact extended far beyond her profession. She was a devoted volunteer in her community, active in her church, workplace committees, and especially in the lives of her children. Whether through St. Joseph’s Elementary School, the Warsaw Figure Skating Club, or the Douro Shamrock Soccer Club, Cindy gave her time to those around her. Her selfless spirit, always ready to help anyone in need, and the love she shared so generously, will be deeply missed.  

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11th from 2-4 & 6-8PM at HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, Peterborough.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the Highland Chapel on Friday, September 12th, 2025 at 1:30PM.  Donations made to the Peterborough Humane Society, Riverview Park & Zoo or Hospice Peterborough would be greatly appreciated by the family.
