HILL, Mr. Claire Elwood (Retired employee of 40 years at General Electric)

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Claire, husband and best friend of Barb (nee Campbell) for 65 years.  Loving father of Lori Hill (Mark Yeoman), Todd (Debbie), Scott (Jill) and Linda Coons (Scott).  Much loved grandfather of Jodie (Jeff), Casey (Cole), Sam (Seija), Mitch (Lindsay), Nick (Shannon), Allie (Dan), Lexi, Dawson, Brett and Braeden.  Great grandfather of Grady Winslow and Payton Hill.  Predeceased by his parents Esther and Darcy Hill and brothers and sisters Carl, Stafford, Betty, Don, and Loretta.  Claire was his Grandchildrens #1 fan in all of their various sports and activities.  Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 1:00-2:00 PM.  Funeral Prayers to follow at 2:00 PM.  Interment Highland Park Cemetery.  Reception will be held in the Highland Park Reception Centre.  In memory of Claire, donations to the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
