Connor Gerald Tully

March 16, 2000 ~ August 14, 2023 (age 23) 23 Years Old

Obituary

TULLY, Connor Gerald - Connor passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 23.  Connor loved all things outdoors.  He was happiest on ATV trails whether it be on his dirt bike, his Polaris four-wheeler or his snowmobile.  He loved to camp and fish, both in summer and in winter.  After fishing he would head home and prepare an excellent fish fry.  He loved to travel and last fall spent time with friends, exploring Europe on their BMX bikes.  Their hashtag was ‘Borough Boys’.  In tribute to his trip, a Borough Boys sticker was placed by Connor on an abandoned fire tower near Sudbury, the highest point in Ontario.  Although he spent a lot of time ‘wrenching’ on vehicles, his favourites above all were his Four Runners.  Those who know him will share that he absolutely loved his trucks.  He was in his third term of his electrical apprenticeship, learning the trade from his Dad.

Friends remember Connor as an exceptional friend, quick to smile or offer support to anyone in need.  He had a caring spirit, a very generous heart and was so incredibly smart.

He will be loved forever by his parents Joanne and Barry and sister Chloe (Matthew Birney) as well as his grandparents Ruth & Harry Bender.  His aunts and uncles will always keep him close in their hearts; Lynda Mathison, Joanne & Wayne Tully, Dianne & Dan Collins, Marlene & Paul Anthony, Cathy & Don Whan, Deborah & Gerry Tully, Dianne Tully and Mike & Connie Bender.  Connor is predeceased by Nana & Poppa Joanne & Gerry Tully and Aunt Bev Sullivan.  Conman joins his uncle Drew McAuley in heaven where they are likely eating pizza, mac & cheese and, if at all possible, playing countless video games.  His many, many cousins hold wonderful memories of Connor as important parts of their lives.

Matt Bialkowski, Ajay Hynes & Makayla Orser, Josh Palmer, Tilly O’Sullivan & Brayden Montgomery and Sydney Delaney are all assured that Connor will ‘rest easy’.  Above all, Connor’s most cherished fur babies, Rosco and Elliott will miss him endlessly.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023 from 10AM-12PM at HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, Peterborough.  A Celebration of Life will be held in the Highland Chapel at 1 PM, with a reception immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, we encourage you to take a minute to enjoy nature as Connor did so much.  Get out a fishing pole, take a four-wheeler ride or just enjoy the many sceneries and scents nature provides.  These were most certainly Connor’s happy places.

Donations can be made to the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society or the Peterborough Humane Society in honour of Rosco and Elliott.  Alternatively, donations can be made to Big Brothers and Sisters of Peterborough.  Online condolences may be made by visiting www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
