BRACKENRIDGE, David Frederick

Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health with his family by his side at the age of 79.  Beloved husband of Carolyn (nee Vansickle) for 55 years.  Loving father of Steven Brackenridge (Amy), Mark Brackenridge (Holly) and Karen Goodwin (Brad).  Cherished grandfather of Hope Kuiack (Chad), Hayley Brackenridge (Tom), Meghan Brackenridge (Ryan), Christopher Brackenridge (MacKennzie), Emily Brackenridge (Cole), and Sidney Goodwin and great grandfather of Josie, Reese and Waylon.  Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Dorothy and his sisters Barbara Thompson, and Brenda Hudson.  Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Sunday from 1:00-4:00 pm.  Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023 at CENTREVILLE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH 574 County Rd 28, at 2:00 PM.  Reception to follow in the Church Hall.  Private family interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens.  In memory of David and in lieu of flowers donations to the Centreville Presbyterian Church or Dancing with Parkinsons https://www.dancingwithparkinsons.com/ would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
