McIntyre, David Stewart (1949-2022)

Passed away Sunday morning on August 7, 2022 at Hospice Peterborough with family and friends by his side. David is survived by his brother Douglas, and wife Dianne, Niece Lyndsey McIntyre (Darcy Hind) and her children Nathan and Megan, his nephew Davis McIntyre (Chantelle Heron) are proud parents of Hugh and Calla.

David was a lifetime Peterborough Utilities Commission staff member, starting as a summer student as an assistant zoo keeper, and retiring with more than 30 years of water works service. He was a quiet, generous friend to many and enjoyed sharing the successes and achievements of family to all.

In accordance with David’s wishes, cremation has taken place and he will be joining his parents, Grace and Don McIntyre, at the family plot at Little Lake Cemetery.

There will be a Celebration of David’s Life held at the Peterborough Golf and Country Club on Sunday, September 25, at 2 pm.  In memory of David and because of the exceptional care he received donations to the Hospice Peterborough www.hospicepeterborough.org would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
