At Springdale Country Manor on Sunday, November 9, 2025 in his 77th year. David is now at peace.   Beloved husband of Patricia “Pat” Black (nee Lake) for 57 years.  Loving father of David Black (Brenda), Becky Valois (Brent) and Darryl Black (Kelly).  Cherished grandfather of Ashley Pfautsch (Rob), Megan Hasmatali (Brandyn), Bailey Valois (Emily Norry), Courtney Donnelly (Jayson), Ryan Black, and Cooper Black, and great grandfather of Macie, Bently and Wyatt.  Dear brother of Stan Black (the late Grace).  Predceased by his siblings Marg Morin (Dave), Lorne Black (Anita), and Carol Black.  In accordance with Dave’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life held a later date.  In memory of Dave, and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson Foundation, would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough.  Online condolences at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
