In Loving Memory of Diane Rotha Fallis (nee Fry)
1942 – 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Diane Rotha Fallis, who left peacefully on June 9, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, with her daughters by her side. She was 82.
Diane lived a vibrant life defined by her unwavering love for her family. She is survived by her loving daughters, Lisa Goodman (Robert), and Melissa Fallis, and was the proud grandmother of Jake and Lauren Goodman, who brought her endless joy and pride.
Diane faced complicated health challenges with courage and dignity, particularly her battle with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disorder. Her daughters Lisa and Melissa were a constant source of strength and support, providing care, companionship, and unwavering love.
She had a remarkable spirit and a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures of life. She loved music, shopping and took pride in looking her best. A dedicated Blue Jays fan, she never missed a game and always cheered on her team. She cherished her time with her senior’s and ladies’ groups, where she formed lasting friendships and shared countless laughs.
Diane was a devoted mother and grandmother whose love knew no bounds. Her presence was a source of strength, and her legacy of love, grace, and independence will live on in all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 14th from 1-4pm in the party room at 225 Sherway Gardens Road, Toronto, Ontario, M9C 0A3. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto.
An intimate graveside service will be held at Little Lake Cemetery, 915 Haggart Street, Peterborough, on Saturday, June 21 at 10:00 AM.
She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered—always in our hearts.
