Dianne Doris Mary Gordanier

GORDANIER, Dianne Doris Mary (nee Osborne) – Surrounded by her family at Peterborough Hospice on Thursday April 16, 2026 in her 76th year. Beloved wife of William (Bill) Gordanier. Loving mother of Lisa Gordanier and Tania Gordanier (Stefan Romberg). Cherished grandmother of Annika and Charlotte Romberg. Dear sister of Darlene Scoularides, Keith Osborne and Patricia Hensel. Predeceased by her parents Glen and Patricia (nee Hontoon) Osborne and her brother Kelly Osborne. Dianne was a travel agent by profession which helped her share her love of world travel and exploration with those around her. While at home, her happy place was tending to her perennial gardens and making them bloom with colour from spring to fall. Those in her inner circle knew it and once you were in, her unwavering support and encouragement was tangible. She always had your back, family and friends meant everything. Her involvement with the horticultural society and the Ferndale Bible Church brought her joy and community. She had love for all furry animals but especially her dogs which was expressed on her favorite coffee mug which read "Best Dog Mom Ever". Dianne's last years included a hard fought battle with Alzheimer's disease which led to her and Bill's involvement in the documentary film "No More Silent Battles" which aims to shine a light on the growing crisis of dementia care in Canada. Cremation has taken place, followed by a Celebration of Dianne’s Life at a later date. While Dianne loved flowers, the family asks that gestures of support be made to one of the Peterborough Humane Society, Ferndale Bible Church or the Peterborough Alzheimer's Society as the charities most important to her.
