FERGUSON, Donald Kenneth

 Passed away surrounded by his loving family at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on August 5th, 2018 in his 81st year.  After 43 years working at General  Electric, he volunteered at the Peterborough &  District Sports Hall of Fame where he was recently welcomed as an honourary member. Don also enjoyed barbershop singing with the Aces of Harmony and spent many happy hours with friends and family at his cottage on Paudash Lake.  Loving husband of Marie Ferguson (Bowler) for 60 years; cherished Father of Laurie (Graham) Farthing, Greg Ferguson, Kim Ferguson (Richard Horner), fondly remembered by Betty Anne Ferguson;  proud Pop of Brendan Cook, Jeff and Mark Farthing, Thunder and Jake Ferguson, Charlie and Abbey Horner; dear brother of the late Verla Clark, sister Carol (the late Jack Gibson) and brother  Robert (the late Carole Ferguson);  sister-in-law Jean Holding and Gail Hill (Gerry Tyndall). Friends will be recived at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTER, 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM.  There will be a Celebration of Don’s Life held at Highland Park Funeral Centre on Thursday August 9th , 2019 at 11:00 AM.  officiated by Rev.
