McGREGOR, Donald “Don”  

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to a loving husband and father.  Don passed Friday April 11th, 2025, at PRHC, surrounded by family.  Beloved husband of 39 years to Joanne (nee Emmerson), father of Jack and Tommy.  Dear brother to Brian (Nancy), Colin (Madeline) and Cameron (the late Mary) and many nieces and nephews.   Son-in-law to Tom Emmerson (the late Eleanor), brother-in-law to Todd Emmerson (Stephanie). Don was a retired tool and die maker at GM for 35 years.  He always enjoyed tinkering in his garage. In his retirement Don found great joy in taking long rides on his ebike.  He loved music and movies.  A celebration of life will be held on Sunday May 4th , 2025  from 1:00—3:00 PM at HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE,  2510 Bensfort Rd. Peterborough.  In memory of Don and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Cancer Care Clinic would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
