ELLIS (nee Caperchione), Donna Anne

Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, April 2, 2026 in her 90th year. Donna was born on February 10th 1936 to Nicola Caperchione and Theresa Fisher in Toronto. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Hender Ellis, with whom she shared a lifetime of happy years. Loving mother of Christine Smith (David), Rick Ellis (Catherine), Theresa Hall, Peter Ellis and Mary Walke (Steve). Sadly missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Madeline Brown and Larry Capp. Predeceased by her siblings Victor, Nicoletta, and Mario. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews.

A true lover of music, Donna loved to listen, to sing, to play, and to dance. Self-sacrificing, positive, and bubbly, she had a charm and a sense of humor that made everyone smile.

There will be a Funeral Mass held at IMMACULATE CONCEPTION ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 386 Rogers Street, Peterborough, on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Interment Highland Park Cemetery. Reception to follow in the Highland Park Funeral Centre. In memory of Donna, and in lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated by the family.
