Doreen Marjorie (Larry) Taylor

Taylor, Doreen, Marjorie –It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Doreen on the morning of Friday May 20, 2022 at the age of 89 years old.  Doreen was the beloved wife of Douglas Taylor (predeceased) and loving mother to Wayne (Cathy) and Deborah (Ahmad). She was Grandma to Stephanie (Ryan), Alison (Alex), Christopher, Michael (Pia), Sarah, Megan, Adam, Daniel, Billy and families.  Loving great Grandma to Maxton. 

Throughout her life, Doreen loved to travel.  She was an avid curler.  She also dabbled in golf and cross country skiing and in her later years, she even enjoyed weekly skating.

Neighbours and friends were important to Doreen. She loved her Theatre Guild gang, annual weekends in Niagara on the Lake and regularly meetings for coffee, lunches or Saturday breakfasts.

Doreen’s life will be celebrated with immediate family.  In memory of Doreen and her love of animals, please donate to the Peterborough Humane Society, Lakefield Animal Shelter or the animal shelter nearest you.
