FOLEY, Doreen Anne (nee McCarthy)

Peacefully with her family by her side at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Saturday, November 23, 2024 in her 90th year.  Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Foley.  Loving mother of Patrick Foley and his wife Teresa, Janet Cornell and her husband Doug, Kelly Miller and her husband Doug and Jen Gilbert and her husband Rob.  Cherished grandmother of Stephanie Judges (Gavin), Jaydon Cornell (Caitlin), Drew Cornell (Tomi), Taryn Miller, Keirstin Gilbert Nicole Gilbert (Derek) and great grandmother of Charlotte, Josephine, Amelia and Ethan.  Dear sister of Wayne McCarthy, Joseph McCarthy, Bea Packenham, Peter McCarthy and Jane Bagshaw.  Predeceased by her parents Joseph McCarthy and Marguerite (nee Ayotte), and her brother Jack McCarthy.  Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Friday, November 29, 2024 from 11:00-12:00 PM.  Funeral Prayers in the Highland Park Chapel at 12:30PM. Interment Highland Park Cemetery.  Reception to follow.  In memory of Doreen and in lieu of flowers, donations to the PRHC Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.
