SANDERSON, Doreen Thelma Louise (nee Shropshire): Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of James “Sandy” Sanderson, the love of her life for 71 years. Loving and devoted mother of Jan Wasson (Shawn, predeceased), Tom Sanderson (Nancy), Lu-Ann Lukes (Frank), and Mary Van Leeuwen (Tom). Cherished grandmother of Ian McAlpine (Karla Warren), Bill Wasson (Gail), Melanie Wasson, Dan Lukes, Jim Wasson (Kalsang Sundup), Becky Harnden (DJ), Kyle Sanderson (Ashley), Kristi Sanderson, Ben Commodore (Heather Craig), Bridget Commodore, Lauren Van Leeuwen, Claire Van Leeuwen and Mark Van Leeuwen.  Proud great-grandmother of Kori, Lexie, Ryan, Dawa, Wyatt, Nyima, Maizey and Ezzy. Treasured best friend of Darlene Strain. Loving Aunt of several nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Gordon Shropshire and Alice Allam. Predeceased by brothers Bill (Elsie) and Jack and sister Audrey Yates (Charlie). Relatives and friends are invited to call at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Sunday, August 26th, 2018 for visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 pm followed by a Service in the Highland Chapel at 2:00 pm.
