BLEWETT, Mrs. Dorothy Margaret (nee Brooks)

Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph “Joe” Blewett. Loving mother of Terry and his wife Joan, and Rick and his wife Jan. Cherished grandmother of Casey Riehl (Tim), Libby Blewett (Maritza Swart), Tracy Cottam (Keith), Braden Blewett and Joey Blewett (Jennifer) and great grandmother of Dayle, Luke, Matt, Claire, Ryan, Jack and Blake. Special aunt of Peggy Jewel. Predeceased by her parents James Brooks and Margaret (nee Darling) and her siblings Mons Brooks, Doris Conroy, Orma Brackenridge and Doug Brooks. In accordance with Dorothy’s wishes, a private family graveside service will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Lakefield. In memory of Dorothy and in lieu of flower, donations to Community Care Lakefield would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough.
