HOPGOOD, Mr. Douglas “Doug” Allen

Peacefully with his family by his side, Doug passed away at Hospice Peterborough on Monday, March 1, 2021 in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Heather (nee Rose) for 41 years. Loving father of Allan and his wife Helen, Corey and his wife Brenda, Cameron and his wife Katie and Jordan and his wife Alexis. Cherished grandfather of Brad, Tori, Brady, Isla, Lachlan, Parker and Tess. Dear brother of Murray, his wife Sharon, and their family. Doug retired from Dofasco (ArcelorMittal) after a successful 42 year career where he made many lifelong friends. In accordance with Doug’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family service held at a later date.
