Edgar Albert Joseph LeBlanc

Edgar Albert Joseph LeBlanc, passed away peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday November 5th, 2020 with his loving wife Velda and son Mark by his side.  Edgar was 79.

Born on May 21st, 1941 in Toronto to Edgar and Jeannette (Tisdale) LeBlanc. He worked for 25 years at Outboard Marine in Peterborough and later went back to school to become an Employment Counselor which was such a rewarding career. Ed married his one true love Velda Matthews on October 29th, 1966. Together, they raised three children, Julie, Mark and Heidi.

Ed deeply loved spending time with his wife Velda who he had been married to for 54 years, and was happiest when he was surrounded by those he loved. Ed loved Jesus and had a strong and deep faith in God and his promises.

Deeply loved and adored, he is survived by his loving wife, Velda.  Wonderful, caring dad to his children Julie (John Eaton), Mark and Heidi (Mark Reesor).  Sweet and loving Papa to grandchildren, Kristen, Liam and Thane and proud great-papa to great-grandson, Fallon. Beloved brother to Dolores, Leonard, Gerald, Mike & Maurice.

A graveside ceremony will take place for family members at Little Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to www.prhcfoundation.ca, palliative care.
