Edith Irene (Drain) Edwards

EDWARDS, Edith Irene (nee Drain): Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre after a brief illness on Wednesday, November 15th, 2023 in her 83rd year. Edith, beloved wife of 54 years to the late Ernie Edwards (d. 2016). Loving and devoted mother of Randy and his wife Sophie, and Connie Edwards. Cherished Grandmother of Travis, Keandra, and Cole, and predeceased by her grandson Ryan Moore. Dear sister of Pauline Graham (Ron, predeceased), and Ethel Hamf. Survived by her sister-in-law Mary Freeburn and brother-in-law Norman Edwards. Daughter of the late William Drain and Agnes Munroe. In keeping with Edith’s wishes, a private graveside service will be held in Little Lake Cemetery. A public reception for family and friends will be held in Highland Park Funeral Centre on Wednesday, November 22nd beginning at 2:00pm.
