Robinson, Elizabeth Eleanor (née Crandall)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Eleanor (Liz) Robinson at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, with her family by her side, on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Robinson for 50 years, loving mother (Mum) of Joette Girardi (Steve), and cherished grandmother (Nin) of Lauren (Ian) and Christopher (Jessie). Liz is predeceased by her two sons, James and Jeremy, whom she loved dearly, and her parents, the late Joseph and Madeline (Campbell) Crandall, and her late brother Bryan Crandall.
Liz loved spending time with her sister-in-law Mary Ritchie, nieces Jennifer Ritchie and Meredith Van Oen (Peter) and her nephews Richard (Isabel) and David (Laura) Cormier and their children.
Liz will also be sadly missed by her many friends in Salisbury and beyond, whom she loved to quilt and sew with, share many wonderful meals together, and partake in long conversations on the telephone.
Mum was the matriarch of our family with whom we shared many special times together. Her devotion for her children and grandchildren was unparalleled and her passing will forever leave a whole in our hearts. Her greatest joys were spending time with her family in Peterborough, decorating and baking for Christmas, listening to her music, and taking care of her plants and flowers throughout her home.
Mum was strong and courageous and overcame many challenges throughout her life. She continued to show her resilience these last five months, which we will always carry with us.
In memory of Liz and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Salisbury United Church or the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. A private ceremony for close family and friends will be held in the spring in Salisbury, NB.
