SAGE, Elsie Lang

Passed away peacefully in her 89th year at the PRHC on 03-Jul-2021 with her cousin Esther by her side. Daughter of the late George and Amy Sage (Lang);  predeceased by her brother  Carlos Sage of Winnipeg, and her sisters Orpha Smith (Sage) and Carol Kent (Sage), both of Peterborough.  Cherished Aunt of Douglas Smith and Heather Secord, both of Toronto.  Elsie loved God and was an active member of the Peterborough Free Methodist Church.  She also loved children and music and was proud to be a member of the Peterborough Interlink program which combined both. The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff of the PRHC, CCAC, & LINH for their care and would especially like to thank her many caregivers from the VON who often went above and beyond. Memorial donations to Gideon International in Canada or the Victorian Order of Nurses-Peterborough, Victoria and Haliburton would be appreciated by Elsie’s family. A funeral service will be held on Friday July 9th, 2021 at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Rd. Peterborough at 11:00 AM with visitation starting at 10:00 AM until the time of service. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, attendance is limited.
