Emile "Mel" Micheal Cowie

COWIE, Emile Micheal “Mel” – Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, August 26^th, 2021 at home in his 80^th year.  Cherished father of Christine Cowie, Christa Gray, Cynthia Gray “Cyn Girl” (Bob), and Emile Cowie Jr. “Sonny” (Anita).  Papa will be remembered by Cody Haigh, Ryan Gray-Brady (Hailey), Cheyenne Haigh, Dylan Gray-Brady, Emileah Gray-Brady and by his great-grandchildren Desiree, Silas and Nevaeh.  Mel will be missed by his siblings Richard Edwards (Sadie), Katherine Ostvik Jules and Lynda Bradley.  Predeceased by siblings Yvonne Lilly, Dawn Milam, Jim Edwards, Tom Cowie and Frances Crispo.  Mel will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and especially by Gail.  In accordance with Mel’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to commemorate Mel’s life will be held at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Friday September 3^rd at 2 PM.
