Suddenly as a result of motor vehicle accident on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at the age of 18.  Beloved son of Mike Hainer and Janice Currie.  Loving brother of Matt Currie (Qera McDuff), Riley Currie (Kari Watson), Jackson Hainer (Dorothy Andrews), and Charlie Hainer.  Loving partner of Makayla Brown. Cherished grandson of Sheena and the late Colin Currie, and the late Ross and Lynda Hainer.  Eric will be sadly  missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, teammates and many friends.  Visitation will be held at THE PETERBOROUGH MEMORIAL CENTRE, 151 Lansdowne Street West Peterborough on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 PM. Service and reception to follow.  In memory of Eric and in lieu of flowers, donations  Donations in memory of Eric can be made at  https://ptbolacrosse.com/donate or e-transfers could be sent to pmlavpfinance@gmail.com  and would be appreciated by the family.
