KILLEN, Francis Quentin “Kent” (Retired Custodian PVNCCDSB)

Peacefully with his family by his side at Hospice Peterborough on Friday, September 23, 2022 in his 84th year.  Beloved husband to Mary (nee Garvey) for 52 years.  Loving father of Kendra Killen and her husband Bill Tighe.  Cherished grandfather of Rayna and Reed.  Survived by his sister-in-law Elaine Killen. Predeceased by his parents Frank Killen and Marie (nee Pluard) and his siblings Leon, Jim (Joanne), Olive Cadigan (Andrew), Eileen Campbell (Jim) and Kevin.  Kent will be sadly missed by the Garvey family, his many nieces and nephews and all who knew him.  Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM.  Graveside prayers will be held at St. Martin of Tours Cemetery, Ennismore, on Wednesday, September 28 at 2:00 pm Reception to follow in the Parish Hall.  In memory of Kent and in lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Peterborough would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be made at
