CRANLEY, Gerald “Gerry” Vincent (Member of the Knights of Columbus Council 11086 St. Alphonsus and 4th Degree member Bishop Marrocco Assembly #882)

Suddenly at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 in his 86th year.  Beloved husband of Florina (nee Mastroanni) for 65 years.  Loving father of Crystal Castounguay (Rick Mullin), Mary Hopkins (Wayne), Cathy Dunlop (Sean), Gerry Cranley (Charlene), Stephen Cranley (the late Lana), and Cheryl Cooney (Brad).  Cherished grandfather of 15 and great grandfather of 8.  Predeceased by his parents Vincent Cranley and Hazel (nee Heffernan), and his siblings Marg Welch, Jack Cranley, Bernadette Johnston, Barbara Evans, Gary Cranley and Colleen Smith and son-in-law Paul Castounguay).  Survived by his sister-in-law Marg Cranley and his many nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 PM.  Knights of Columbus prayers will be at 7:00 PM.  Funeral Mass will be held at ST. ALPHONSUS LIGUORI ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH 1066 WESTERN Ave Peterborough on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM.  Interment to follow St. Peter’s Cemetery.  Reception will be held at the St. Alphonsus Church Hall.  In memory of Gerry and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Canada would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
