WERRY, Glenn Wesley
With love and gratitude for a life well lived, a proud farmer whose hard work and kindness touched the lives of so many. We share the passing of Glenn Wesley Werry, who left this world peacefully on February 10, 2025, at the age of 77, surrounded by his cherished family at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre.
Glenn was the devoted and loving husband of Barbara (née Guppy) for 54 wonderful years—a partnership built on love, laughter, and unwavering support. A proud and caring father, he leaves behind his beloved daughters, Kimberly Paulson (Floyd) and Kelly Westlake (Gabe). He was a deeply loved father-in-law to the late Scott Paulson and Shawn Westlake (surviving).
Glenn’s greatest joy was his role as a Papa. He adored and was endlessly proud of his grandchildren: Brooklyn, Dawson, Kay, Josie and David, who will forever cherish the memories and wisdom he shared with them.
Glenn is reunited with his parents Wesley and Helen Werry (nee Metcalf) and his late brothers Ed Werry (Clare, surviving) and John Werry.
He was a dear brother to Anne Emmerson (Monty)and Ewart Werry.
Glenn was also a caring brother-in-law to Carole Ayotte (Peter) and Jim Guppy (the late Gloria). His many nieces and nephews, along with extended family and friends, will deeply miss his kindness, warmth, and sense of humour.
Glenn’s life will be honoured and celebrated at the Highland Park Funeral Centre, 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough, on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at from 1:00-3:00 with words of remembrance at 1:00 PM, followed by a reception where family and friends can gather to share stories, memories and toast in his honour. In lieu of flowers, donations in Glenn’s memory to PRHC Palliative Care Unit would be deeply appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be shared at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com.
Glenn’s love and legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
