In loving memory of our dear Grace.......
With the heaviest of hearts, we are deeply saddened to mourn the passing of Grace Blaskievich on March 23, 2025 in her 98th year. Grace was born in Havelock, Ontario to the late Lester Harold Rowat and Laura Euphemia Graham.
Grace lived her life full of self-determination and resilience. She enjoyed passing her time with family, friends and her spiritual community. Grace was an avid bowler and volunteered with many community organizations over the years.
Beloved wife of the late Brones (Blackie) Blaskievich and the late Raymore Blondin. Dear Mother of the late Ronald Eugene Blondin and the late Paul Blondin. Dear Grandmother to Denise Gould (Doug), Mark Blondin, Shawn Blondin and Troy Blondin and Great-Grandmother to Jacob and Hayden Gould. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Josephine Davis (late Lester) and step-daughter Helen Blaskievich.
Grace was sadly predeceased by nine siblings.
Tremendous thanks to Grace's Palliative Physician, Doctor Erin Nishikawa and the supportive team at Hospice Peterborough who provided exceptional care for Grace until she was ready to be with the Angels.
In keeping with Grace's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her Life will take place at HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Hospice Peterborough in Grace's name would be greatly appreciated.
