MILES, Gwendolyn Elizabeth (nee Friendship) – Passed away at Extendicare Peterborough on Tuesday, November 15th, 2023 in her 101st year. Daughter of the late Charles and Catherine Friendship. Predeceased by her husband Manuel (1988), her sisters and their spouses Helen (Jack) Sanders and Cathy (Gordon) Vincent and her daughter Audrey (2017). Cherished mother of Lorraine Houghton and her husband Arthur and Heather Whittle and her husband Brian. Loving Grandmother of Stephen Houghton, Sarah Dunlop (Jeff), Benjamin Houghton (Nate) and Holly Whittle-Nikow. Great Grandmother of Mason and Charlie Dunlop, Carly Whittle-Nikow, and Royce Pacey-Houghton. Auntie Gwen to Fred Sanders and Cathy Lee Benbow (John). A private family graveside service has been held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Campbellford. Gwen’s family wishes to thank the staff at Extendicare Peterborough for their unforgettable dedication and loving care.
