CROUGH, Mrs. Helen Mary (nee Joanisse) Long time member of Our Lady of Assumption CWL

Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Saturday, September 29, 2018 surrounded by her loving children.  Beloved wife of the late Urban Crough (2001).  Loving mother of Bob (Karen), Dianne Barry, Marie Rutherford (Bill), Bonnie (Mike Condon), Eilleen Whitney (Bart), Rita Galley (Mike), Jane Crough (Don), and Mike (Linda).  Loving grandma to Rob, Jeff, Penny, Jenny, Tracy, Randy, Jake, Joe, Sonya, Sarah, Mike, Andy, Jessica, Derek, Micheline, Lindsay and Matt.  Sadly missed by her 25 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Denise Crough, and sister-in-law of Pat Lustic, Teresa and Fred Garvey, Doreen Arthurs, Paul and Patti Crough, Shirley and Al O’Neill and Anne Crough.  Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and their families, neighbours and friends.  Predeceased by parents Eugene, and Marie Joanisse, brothers Roger (Pat), Marcel (Gab) and Lucien and by her husband Urban’s siblings and their spouses.  In accordance with Helen’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a Funeral Mass held at OUR LADY OF ASSUMPTION ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH 1830 Keene Rd Otonabee, on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 11:00 AM.  Monsignor Michael Heffernan officiating.  Reception to follow in the Parish Hall.  Interment St. Martin of Tours Cemetery.  In memory of Helen donations to the MS Society of Peterborough or Autism Ontario-Peterborough Chapter would be appreciated by the family and may be made through the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
