It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Hilda Alberta Helen Hamilton (nee Thompson) on May 9, 2025. Hilda was in her 86th year- Born January 23, 1940.

Loving wife of Vern. Predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Danecourt Thompson. Cherished mother of Cheryl MacDonell (Don Predeceased) and Nancy Kehoe (Pat). Adored grandma of Ashley, Courtney (Brandon), Chelsey, Kristen (Dalton), and Aly (Luke). Beloved GG of Parker, Paysen, Maylee, Raelynn, Maya, Jackson, MacKenzie, and Addison. Dear sister of predeceased brother, Howard (Predeceased Kathy), Doug (Heather) and Dan (Bonnie).

Nothing meant more to Hilda than her family! Hilda loved spending time and cooking/ baking for her family. She also enjoyed babysitting, her grand and great grandchildren. Hilda worked in the cafeteria at Sears and Kmart. Hilda was an active member of St. Luke’s Church (until COVID). She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

The family would like to send a huge thank you to all of the amazing nurses and staff at Hospice for the excellent care and compassion mom and all of us received in her final days.
