MILLAR, James “Jim” Mortimer - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James “Jim” Mortimer Millar on Thursday, May 12th, 2022 at PRHC in his 93rd year.  Jim will be greatly missed by his loving wife and best friend Grace of 70 years.  Jim was a loving father to his six children, Judy Heasman, Mary Jane Stoner (Garth), Jamie Ferguson (Steve), Jim Millar (Barb), Cindy Cameron (Scott) and Bill Millar (Brooke).  He was a much-loved grandfather to 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.  Always remembered by sister Dorothy Dettman (Al), and sisters-in-law Helen Robson, Kay Nickle and the late Fran Nolan and Janie Zeller.  Remembered and loved by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents Dorothy and Bill.  Jim was a devoted family man and long-time employee of OMC, retiring in 1995.  He was also an avid sports fan of the L.A. Dodgers and Chicago Blackhawks.  A private family service will be held on Wednesday, May 18th, 2022 at St. Paul’s Church.  Followed by interment at Little Lake Cemetery.  In memory of Jim, donations made to PRHC Palliative Care Unit or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.  Online condolences may be made by visiting www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
