Janis Kelly

KELLY, Janis. On June 6th, 2022, in her 69th year, Janis passed away peacefully at her East City home surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Janis led a life of joy, love, and passion, driven by adventure and curiosity, oftentimes living outside the box. She spent her professional life as a nurse and a nurse practitioner, helping countless people both locally and in Honduras. In her last year, she endured a difficult treatment protocol to cherish every last minute with her children and grandchildren, and to participate in studies for the benefit of future generations. Beloved wife of David Cain. Loving mother of Allison Grierson, Tim Cain, Rod Grierson (Danielle LeMoine), and Robert Cain. Cherished grandmother of Eloise, Annabel, Finn, Norah and Lou.  Sister of Linda Chambers (Jim), Karen Armour (Jack), Gail Morris (Neil), Dan Kelly (Dawn) and the late Barry Kelly. Janis will be deeply missed by everyone who had the benefit to cross her path.
