Jean Rodgers (Robertson) Biancucci

BIANCUCCI, Jean Rodgers (nee Robertson) – With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jean at the Peterborough Regional Hospital on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at the age of 85. Predeceased by her beloved husband Claude Biancucci (d. 1984). Loving and devoted mother of Carla Blake (Bev) of Burlington, John Biancucci (Darlene Hayes) of Burlington and Mary Carr (Bill) of Oshawa. Proud grandmother of Michael and Lindsay, Andrew, Sarah and Adrianna and Shelby and Megan. Fondly remembered by Jody (Surlovich) Pierson, Reid, Brock and Paul Pierson and step-grandchildren Kelly and Nicky. Adored great-grandmother of Alexa, Emily and Jaclyn. Much loved sister of Wendy Strickler. Loving aunt to James Roberston (Brian), Heather Robertson, Lisa Brown (Dan), Leslie Strickler (Ellen), Jay Strickler (Tammy), Rob Strickler (Leslie). Predeceased by her parents John and Mildred (nee Mattson) Robertson, brother Jack Robertson, sister-in-law Lou Picard and brother-in-law Gary Strickler. Jean will be sadly missed by her extended family, her cherished friend Margaret Wild (the late David) and her family. In keeping with Jean’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Wednesday, February 6th, 2019 from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. The Memorial Service will be on Thursday, February 7th, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. followed by interment at Highland Park Cemetery and reception in the Highland Park Reception Centre.
