Peacefully with her family by her side at Riverview Nursing Home on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 in her 90th year.  Beloved wife of the late Raymond Griffin.  Loving mother of Daniel (Linda) Griffin, Sherry (Warren Elcombe), Deborah (Dan McGrath pd.), Jeff (Charlene) Griffin, Ken (Ronda) Griffin.  Cherished grandmother of Shawn (Krista) and Matt Elcombe, Steven, Kyle and Heather Griffin, Melissa and Mitch McGrath, Mark and James Griffin.  Great grandmother of Luke Griffin.  Dear sister of Margaret (Ray pd.) Armitage (Newcastle), Earl (Joan) Shaw (Joyceville), the late Bill (Ester pd.) Shaw and the late James “Jimmy” Shaw.  Sister-in-law of the late Dora Davidson, the late Gladys “Peggy” (John pd.) Tate, and the late Kenneth (Anne pd,) Griffin.  She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews.  There will be a celebration of Life held at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.  In memory of Jessie, and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
