Joan (Healey) Heath

HEATH, Joan (nee Healey): Peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, May 7, 2022 in her 85th year. Joan, beloved wife of 62 years to the late Jerry Heath. Loving and devoted mother of Michael (Jovita Sanders), Murray (Crystal), Barb Martin, Donna O’Brien (Rick). Cherished Grandmother of Ryan, Melissa, Wesley (Allex), Shawn, Alex, Anthony and Great Grandmother of William. Dear sister of Peter Healey (Ethel), Brian Healey (Gaila), Michael predeceased, and Joyce Ballard predeceased. 

Mom was loved by all that knew her, she was a lot of fun and had a great sense humour. She loved hosting her family at the cottage, especially her grandchildren and she always went all out on special occasions.  Mom was very social and loved to line dance, play darts and host a girl’s weekend at the cottage.  She belonged and volunteered at several senior clubs as well as St. John the Baptist auxiliary. She will be dearly missed by many friends and family.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Joan’s Memorial Mass in St. John The Baptist Church, Wilson Street, on Saturday, May 14th at 11:00am
