Joan Marilyn Frances (Fulton) Hicken

JOAN MARILYN FRANCES HICKEN

Passed away on Sept 21, 2026 at the Oakville Trafalger Hospital after several years as a resident at Post Inn Village Long-Term Care Home in Oakville.  Formerly from Peterborough, Ontario, a devoted Registered Nurse, a graduate of the Peterborough Civic Hospital, and retired from The Medical Centre, Joan’s wish was to be cremated immediately with no visitation, and a private family arrangement at a later date. Joan joins her loving husband and best friend Don Hicken, and leaves sons David (Helen) and Barry (Cauline), grandchildren Lauren, Adam, Krista, Bradley and great grandchildren Clara and Zachary. I love you all, unfortunately all things come to an end on earth, but not in Heaven where we will come together again sometime in the future. Donations may be made in memory of Joan to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre or the Hospital for Sick Children.
