Peacefully at Fairhaven Peterborough surrounded by her loving family on Saturday June 22nd, 2019 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Bill Hayes. Loving mother of the late Ann Spencer (Randy), Michael (Leslie), Brian (Mary), Mark (Renate), Stephen, Mary Beth  Madill (Ray), Diane Russelle (Steve), Marty and Kerry Hayes (Eric Lodgins). Proud grandmother of Christian, Nyles, Sarah, Arleigh, Katie, Corey, Lucas, Jessica, Madeline, Laura, Hayley, Gillian, Liam and Clare. Great grandmother of Lola, Broghan, Lochlan, Faolan, Solomon and Clementine. Predeceased by parents Stanley and Mary Jane Burden (nee McGovern) and siblings Helen Hiltz, Frank Burden, Teresa Davey and Lillian Heenan. A very special thank you to all of the caring staff at Fairhaven, especially the wonderful staff of Westview 4. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday June 25th, 2019 from 7:00P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Parish prayers 6:45 P.M. at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Rd. Peterborough. Funeral Mass to be held on Wednesday June 26th, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. at The Cathedral of St. Peter in Chains, 411 Reid St. Peterborough. Reception to follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 317 Hunter St. W, Peterborough. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery following reception at 1:00 P.M.
