John 'Jack' Thomas Nurse

NURSE, John ‘Jack’ Thomas – Passed away peacefully at Hospice Peterborough with family by his side on Wednesday, November 27th, 2024 in his 90th year. Jack, beloved husband of 64 years to the late Margaret (nee Lang). Loving and devoted father of John Nurse (Deb), Dianne Nurse, the late Gary Nurse, Sheree McKenzie (Scot), Bradley Nurse (Christina Weaver) and Ellen Lewis (Paul). Remembered lovingly by his grandchildren: Scott (Val), Michelle (James), Tara (Pat), Steven (Jess), Shawn and Aidan; and  cherished great-grandchildren: Elizabeth, Laura, Brielle, Nala, Emerson and Fiona. Predeceased by his brothers Gerald and Elgin and survived by his brother-in-law Donald Lang (Ann). Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Son of the late Thomas Nurse and Ellen Harper. Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Reception in Highland Park Funeral Centre on Sunday, December 8th from 2:00 to 4:00pm.
