John "Jack" Eldon Kimball (born December 4, 1932) & Margaret Ann (nee Rogers) Kimball (born April 14, 1933): Passed away Peacefully, together at their home, on their own terms, holding hands on Friday, February 20, 2026, age 93 and 92 respectively after almost 74 years of marriage. Beloved parents of Jacquelyn Ann Kimball, Barbara Ann M. Kimball, and the late Nancy Lee Cleary. Cherished Grandparents of Michael McVeigh (Karolyn), Allison Cranney (Billy), Ryan Matheson (Stephanie), and cherished Great Grandparents of Owen, Lucas, Nora, and Henry. Margaret was the daughter of Albert Rogers and Annie Dubois and is predeceased by her brother James (Jimmy). Jack was the eldest son of Eldon Hartley Kimball and Nancy May Clarridge and is predeceased by his brother Gerry (Donna). Both Jack and Margaret were raised in Peterborough. They met when they were 14 and were married in Trinity United Church in 1952. Both had a tremendous love for socializing and being active. They curled and played golf well into their retirement years. They also shared a love for dogs and creating beautiful paintings on canvas. Jack particularly, was an avid sportsman having set records locally in triple jump and playing high level hockey. Jack also coached and was instrumental in establishing Church Hockey Leagues in the Peterborough area. He was also a church elder for many years at Grace United. Margaret loved to spend time in her well-manicured gardens, and she took much pride in her sewing. Up until their final days, they enjoyed cheering for the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Blue Jays. In keeping with their wishes, cremation has taken place and graveside service in Highland Park Cemetery will take place in the spring.
