Lang, Josef (Joe) Thomas,

Passed away at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on the evening of June 3, 2022 three days shy of his 91st birthday. Beloved husband of Shelva (Brentnell). Loving father of Alan (Julie), Jennifer, Evan (Angie) and Justin (Katie). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Rebecca (Reuben), Michael (Jasmine), Aaron, Jaiden, Matthew, Quin, Gwen, Liam and Thomas and great-grandchildren Theo and Natalie. Joe enjoyed outdoor activities including fishing, hunting and spending his summers at Balsam Lake. He spent over 20 years of his career working at Outboard Marine in Peterborough and finished his career in General Motors. Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd. Peterborough on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM with a Celebration of Joe’s Life to follow at 2:00 PM. Interment Highland Park Cemetery. At the family’s request, masks are mandatory. A reception will be held at Evan and Angie’s farm afterwards.
