Joseph "Joe" Terence McCarthy

McCarthy, Joseph Terence “Joe” – At the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Sunday March 1, 2026 in his 85th year.  Loving husband of Lynn McCool and father to Regena Collins (Ken).  Dear Grandpa of Iain and Niall.  Dear brother of Peter (Mary) McCarthy, Wayne (Nancy) McCarthy, Elaine (Bob) Pakenham and Jane Bagshaw (John d.).  Predeceased by his parents Joe and Marguerite  “Peg” McCarthy, his brother Jack (Lucy d.) McCarthy and sister Dolly (Lawrence d.) Foley.  Brother-in-law to Elaine and Phillip Kolomitze, Jeanette Kerr, Garth Sleeman and Cheryl Pollack.  Joe will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.   Joe was a printer for the Maxwell Review for over 30 years and enjoyed racing his horses at Kawartha Downs.  A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday March 9, 2026 at 11:00 am from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 386 Rogers Street, Peterborough.  Inurnment Highland Park Cemetery, 2510 Bensfort Road, Peterborough.  Following the inurnment a reception will be held in the Highland Park Funeral Centre.  In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Joe may be made to a charity of your choice.
