 Loucks, Kathryn “Kate” Joanne (nee McCarthy) 
November 22, 1953 – March 19, 2025 
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kate, a beautiful, caring and spirited wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She is now at rest with her loving husband, Jim and her three children Jay, Kathryn and Sarah. Kate is survived by her siblings Gwen Johnston, Pauline O’Hearn and Jim McCarthy and predeceased by Ted McCarthy, Don McCarthy , Mary Smith and Christine Wesley. Kate lived most of her life in the Keene area where she enjoyed working in our health care system and volunteering in many community organizations. A Celebration of Kate’s Life will be held at the Highland Park Funeral Centre, 2510 Bensfort Road, Peterborough on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 2:00 PM with a reception to follow. In memory of Kate and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
