Kosta Veziris

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of Kosta Veziris, who passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on November 14, 2025, at the age of 91.

Kosta will be remembered for his kindness and gentle spirit. A hardworking man throughout his life. He came from Greece in 1959 to build a new life in Canada. After meeting and marrying his wife Dina they built a life and raised a close knit family together for 66 years. A man of strong faith who imparted the importance of family, love and respect for others.

A faithful husband and loving father he will be missed by his wife Dina, children George (wife Pamela), Taso and Esma.  He will be cherished by his adoring grandchildren Noah and Rebecca with her husband Aaron and great-grandchildren Madison, Aliyah and Kylie who lovingly referred to him as Papou.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st from 2-4 & 7-9PM at HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, Peterborough.  A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, November 22nd, 2025 at 2PM in the Highland Chapel.  Interment Highland Park Cemetery.
