MITCHESON, Leanne Marie (nee Davis),

On Tuesday, October 07, 2025, at Princess Margaret Hospital after a top drawer fight against her cancer.......Beloved wife of the late Peter. Loving mother of Melissa Sim and her husband Chris.  Cherished grandmother of the adorable Savannah.  Devoted daughter of Tom Davis and the late Kathleen.  Dear sister of Laurie. Leanne had a wonderful career in Human Resources at several Peterborough institutions (St. Joseph Hospital, Civil Hospital and Children's Aid Society) and in Toronto (Mount Sinai and Kensington Health services).  She was much loved wherever she went and has many friends in both cities and parts in between.  She would like to single out her sister Laurie, daughter Melissa and great friend Cheryl for helping her through the past six months.  She would also like to single out the caring staff at Mont Sinai, Toronto General Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital for their unending help over the past few months.  A Celebration of Life will take place at HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 2:30-4:30 PM.  Please celebrate Leanne by having food and drinks without speeches.  In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Princess Margaret Hospital Cancer Department would be appreciated.
